Thank you to all who have contacted the West of Scotland Kyudo Society with an interest in learning Kyudo.

Our current beginners Kyudo course is oversubscribed. We will start accepting new beginners interested in learning Kyudo from September 2017. However, before commiting to learning Kyudo, we strongly advise first observing a Kyudo practice (preferably in Prestwick). We welcome observers at practices all year round through prior arrangement by email.

Please be advised that our Edinburgh practice is currently for makiwara (straw target) training only. It is expected that regular members make a commitment to attend and practise matomae (Kyudo training with targets at full distance of 28 metres) at least once per month.
